The Edge-Connect Gas Ignition Control for 24 VAC OEM applications. is part of a new series of Gas Ignition Controls from Fenwal.  It eliminates miswiring, increases installation speed and, when compared to quick connect designs, reduces repetitive motion stress during assembly.  Applications include furnaces, boilers, radiant and infrared heaters, hearth, water heaters, commercial cooking, dryers, and similar gas-fired equipment.

To meet the needs of appliance and equipment manufacturers for a highly reliable, cost effective gas ignition control with improved assembly productivity and reduced wiring errors, Fenwal’s 35-60-EC integrates all connections onto the edge of the circuit board. A multi-wire Molex® or AMP® plug completes all required wiring with a single connection.  In addition to the enhanced noise immunity and flame sense features of the new 35-60-EC Edge Connect design, an additional relay is offered for controlling the combustion blower function. 
 
The new generation of 35-60-EC Series Gas Ignition Controls from Fenwal is offered direct spark with a full range of timings and sequences to meet the exact performance requirements of the OEM.  Microprocessor -based for precise, reliable operation of a gas valve, the Fenwal 35-60-EC supervises burner ignition and continually monitors the flame for safety. Agency certified by CSA, the 35-60-EC features self-check at startup, on-board diagnostics with LED readout, flame current test pins and available automatic one-hour reset and optional integrated combustion blower relay.
