Products like the Series 35-60 are 24 VAC microprocessor based direct spark ignition controls designed for use in all types of heating applications. The control utilizes a microprocessor to continually and safely analyze and control the proper operation of the gas burner. Value added features such as LED diagnostics, remote and local flame sensing, custom prepurge and interpurge timings, automatic one hour reset, and flame current test pins highlight the controls benefits.

Fenwal CE EN 298:2003 gas ignition controls are third-party approved for use in gas-fired appliances intended for European and Australian markets. The Fenwal 35-6x Series controls are ideal for a wide range of applications including commercial cooking equipment, HVAC, radiant/infrared heaters, boilers and furnaces.

The Fenwal CE approved Series include the 35-60 standard direct spark ignition control, the 35-61 direct spark ignition control with a combustion blower relay and the 35-63 intermittent pilot ignition control for appliances requiring spark-to-pilot design.

The new European CE standard, effective at the end of September 2006, supersedes the 1998 standard and requires significant upgrades in safety and fault detection capabilities to be designed into all automatic burner control systems for gas burners and gas burning appliances.Fenwal also designs, develops and manufactures accessory items such as spark and flame sense electrodes, spark and flame sense cables and wiring harnesses ensuring seamless integration and maximum system performance.
