Fenwal achieves international agency approvals for
35-6X Series gas ignition controls.  In order to fully support its global market, Fenwal Controls, a leading manufacturer of automatic gas ignition and temperature controls for commercial and industrial OEM customers, has achieved international agency approvals for a number of its popular gas ignition controls. Most recently, the reengineered 35-60 Series (including the 35-60 standard model, the 35-61 combustion blower and the 35-63 intermittent pilot) received approvals from the Australian Gas Association (AGA) and the Canadian Gas Association (CSA). In addition, the 35-60 Series is now CE approved to EN 298:2003, and is recognized under the UL component program, UL 372.

With the new international approvals, these controls can be seamlessly integrated into gas-fired appliances intended for distribution anywhere in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Fenwal’s 35-60 Series controls are ideal for a variety of applications, including commercial cooking equipment, HVAC and hydronic systems, boilers, and furnaces. The Series includes a standard direct spark ignition control (35-60), a direct spark ignition control with a combustion blower relay (35-61) and an intermittent pilot ignition control for appliances requiring two separate flames (35-63).
