Series 35-72 Gas Ignition Control
Features 18 KV Spark Output

A new microprocessor-based 120 VAC gas ignition control that features a high spark output and 10 times more accuracy, with higher reliability, than an analog control is being introduced by Fenwal of Ashland, Massachusetts. The Fenwal Series 35-72 120 VAC Direct Spark Gas Ignition Control features 18 KV spark output to assure quicker ignition under adverse conditions and provides totally repeatable sequences for ignition times, including four TFI, pre-, and inter-purge times.  Capable of 0.2 second timing accuracy, this microprocessor-based control sparks 60 times/second, stops when it senses a flame, and can be configured to meet OEM customer requirements.

Available with 1,000 variations of spark electrodes and flame sense rods, the Fenwal Series 35-72 120 VAC Direct Spark Gas Ignition Control is UL/CSA listed, has a 4” x 2.3” footprint, is potted to withstand extreme moisture and vibration, and can be mounted  in any orientation.  Using 40% fewer parts than an analog control, a multi-pin connector for fast assembly, and can operate greater than 250,000 appliance cycles.

Free samples configured to specific application requirements are available to qualified OEMs directly from Fenwal’s manufacturing facility in Ashland, Massachusetts. Pricing, availability and stocking programs for production volumes are available upon request.
