Ignition Control Module Solutions From Fenwal

Ignition Control Module Solutions from Fenwal.

Fenwal designs and manufactures a Direct Spark and Hot Surface Ignition Control Module for safely delivering and controlling LP & natural gas in all types of commercial gas-fired appliances - from furnaces and boilers to rooftop heater, infrared burners, water heaters and every other type of commercial heating appliance. These gas ignition control module units are available for 12 VDC, 24VAC, 120VAC applications.

The model 35-52 is a 12 Volt DC Microprocessor based direct spark ignition control module designed for use in many types of heating applications such as RV gas furnaces, RV water heaters, construction equipment and other similar appliances. The ignition control module utilizes a microprocessor to continually and safely monitor, analyze and control the proper operation of the gas burner. The ignition control module has value added features such as LED diagnostic output, automatic one hour reset, and multiple ignition tries highlight the controls benefits. The 12 Volt DC gas ignition control module is used mainly for Recreation Vehicle heating appliances such as furnaces and water heaters as well as other 12 Volt DC fired equipment.

The models 35-60 and 35-61 are 24 VAC microprocessor based direct spark ignition control module units designed for use in many types of heating applications such as gas furnaces, boilers, water heaters, commercial cooking and other similar appliances. The ignition control module utilizes a microprocessor to continually and safely monitor, analyze and control the proper operation of the gas burner. Value added features such as LED diagnostic output, automatic one hour reset, and flame current test pins highlight the controls benefits. The 35-61 has the added feature of a combustion blower relay with postpurge. The 24 Volt AC direct spark gas ignition control module is used for many types of heating appliances.

The 35-72 is a 120 VAC direct spark ignition control module is used for controlling a gas valve and igniting LP or natural gas on heating equipment that provides a 120 VAC operating voltage. The microprocessor circuit design provides precise, repeatable timing sequences for ignition times, purge times (pre- and inter-) along with multiple tries for ignition and flame sensing during pre-purge. The 120 Volt AC direct spark gas ignition control module is used for many types of heating appliances. This control is essential for applications such as: Construction Heaters, Ceramic Infrared Heaters, Black Body Infrared Heaters, Commercial Cooking Equipment and any 120 VAC Gas Burner Application under 400K BTU

The Series 35-65 and 35-66 controls are designed to perform many gas-fired 24VAC appliance functions in a single control, resulting in a lower system cost. This series monitors the demand for heat, controls the combustion blower, monitors proper airflow, ignites and maintains the flame during heating, and provides diagnostic support. The on-board diagnostics with LED outputs provide assistance with troubleshooting and ensure safe and efficient burner operation.

  • Safe start and full-time flame sensing
  • 120/240 field selectable line voltage for use with 120V ignition operation
