The 59 Series of electronic temperature control units are accurate to <1% of span. The units provide programmable set-point temperature, adjustable differential from 2° F to 20° F, offset, and timer options to signal an alarm or shut down a process. The units display process and set point temperatures and offer probe-failure diagnostics with an error message display. The electronic temperature control units are software configurable for specific temperature ranges and sensor types.

Values are entered via push-button switches to configure the controller. A mechanical relay or an output for driving an external solid-state-relay (SSR Driver) is available.

Series 20000, 21000, 22000 - this series of controllers provide full 15A capability in either single or dual switch configurations. The discrete switch action makes the device suitable for dry-contact applications or switching of DC logic signals.

Another popular electromechanical temperature controllers are the Surface Mount THERMOSWITCH^®, Series 30000. Also based on the differential expansion of metals principle, an increase in temperature causes the stainless steel outer case of the Surface Mounting THERMOSWITCH^® controller to expand at a greater rate than the internal bridge assembly. Because the case is in direct contact with the heated surface, a temperature change is sensed almost instantaneously. An increase in temperature causes the case to expand, resulting in a linear change of the internal bridge assembly thus causing the electrical contacts to open. A decrease in temperature causes the contacts to close. The THERMOSWITCH^® is fully adjustable with overlapping ranges from 50 to 600ºF with a 1200 Watt resistive load rating at 120- VAC/240 VAC. The THERMOSWITCH^®, Series 30000 has a narrow temperature differential, uses UL recognized and CSA certified components and is compact is in size and economical to use.
