THERMOSWITCHÒ Temperature Controllers are tubular devices featuring an outer shell made of high-expanding metal and internal struts made of low-expanding metal, with a pair of electrical contacts between them. When the temperature of the media being measured changes, a corresponding change in the spacing of the contacts provides instant on/off control with a small differential, resulting in + 1° F precision, depending upon the application.

Featuring "anticipation" characteristics which minimize over- and under- shoot during rapid temperature changes, FenwalÒ THERMOSWITCHÒ Temperature Controllers can be field-set and require no external power. Easy to install using their own hex coupling (other mounting options offered), they are UL/CSA listed and exhibit greater than 100,000 cycles operation @ 10 A and 120 VAC.

Application for the Thermoswitch series include; hydraulic laminating presses, livestock watering fountains, label adhesive applicators, paint drying equipment, typesetting machines, hot stamp printers, vending machines, deep fat cookers and textile platens.

Various models of the Thermoswitch are listed to component recognized by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) and certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA).
