Spark Electrode Part
of Fenwal Electrode Assemblies

Spark Electrode Part
of Fenwal Electrode Assemblies.

Spark Electrode and other elements make up the electrode assemblies for Fenwal Control’s gas ignition systems like the direct spark and hot surface ignition systems. A full range of low-cost electrode assemblies that can be custom configured to meet specific OEM direct spark and hot surface gas ignition system requirements are available.

Fenwal Electrode Assemblies for gas ignition systems can incorporate flame sensor rods, spark ignition systems (using a spark electrode) and a combination of both in a variety of sizes and configurations. Custom fabricated to position the spark gap precisely and meet other design requirements, they can use Steatite or alumina ceramics for applications up to 1,800F and the rods can be made from nickel-chrome, stainless steel and other specialty metals.

Available with brackets made from copper flash or nickel plated cold rolled steel in various shapes and sizes, Fenwal Electrode Assemblies can be supplied with embedded lead wires to virtually any length spark electrode and rajah (spark plug type) connectors and quick-disconnects. They can be produced in hundreds to millions of pieces per year, depending upon configuration, quantity and OEM requirements.

Spark electrodes are available in all gas ignition control systems. Fenwal offers three types of controls: 12Volt DC Controls are direct spark ignition models with optional combustion blower relay, 24 Volt AC Controls are direct spark, hot surface and intermittent pilot ignition models, while the 120 Volt AC Controls are also for direct spark, hot surface and intermittent pilot ignition models.
