Close Control: Fenwal Series 30003 Open Frame Bimetal Thermostat

Fenwal achieves international agency approvals for 35-6X Series gas ignition controls

Reengineered 35-60 Series (including the 35-60 standard model, the 35-61 combustion blower and the 35-63 intermittent pilot) received approvals from the Australian Gas Association (AGA) and the Canadian Gas Association (CSA). In addition, the 35-60 Series is now CE approved to EN 298:2003, and is recognized under the UL component program, UL 372.    MORE

Leading the way toward global application - Fenwal Gas Ignition Controls approved to latest CE standards

To meet the requirements of customers pursuing global markets Fenwal Controls has recently received approval on the new Fenwal Series 35-60, 35-61 and 35-63 gas ignition controls to the latest CE standard EN 298:2003. The new European CE standard, effective at the end of September 2006, supersedes the 1998 standard and requires significant upgrades in safety and fault detection capabilities to be designed into all automatic burner control systems for gas burners and gas burning appliances.  MORE

Series 35-62 controls a single gas valve and
simultaneously lights and monitors two gas burners.

"For optimum heating efficiency, certain applications require two individual burners located separately, but acting in tandem. In this type of application, lighting and monitoring both burners safely and efficiently can be a challenge. Snap Disc Thermostats are suitable
for environments up to 500°F (260°C)

These thermostats, available as hermetically sealed stainless steel probes (Series 08-80) or as surface mounting (Series 08-03) models, are designed specifically for high temperature applications. Featuring a precise and repeatable snap-acting bimetallic disc as the actuating element, these rugged devices have silver contacts to assure long life. The thermostats are available with a variety of terminal options, such as lead wires (any length), solder lugs, wiring eyelets and quick-connect style terminals.  MORE
